Considering that the shop isn't really open yet, I suppose that isn't a bad thing. I've been busy with lots of different things. I have tried my hands at a lot of new projects but the wedding that my fiance and I are having in September (and the fact that I'm making the majority of the items) has been eating up not only a lot of my time and focus, but of course money as well.

However with the last couple of days I have been experimenting with some new products that are easy to make for me and keep my hands on something while waiting for things to happen. As I now have a decent supply of them, I figure I could at least test out the best shipping and selling of items on the site. I'm hoping to gain a bit of a head way to at least buy more supplies while I'm waiting for the wedding to be over with and save up for some major items I need to run the shop properly.

In other news, we now have a new partner. Neko, my friend from high school, has agreed to become a partner with us and will be honing her skills in sewing. As a talented artist herself, I look forward to not only working with her, but seeing the pieces that she creates.

A lot of things are going on in the world of Phoenix Perch, so please stay with us as we continue to bring you more things in the future!

~Nefidean

Site Update: Feels Like Home.

http://www.phoenixperch.com/1/post/2009/11/site-update-feels-like-home.html

http://www.phoenixperch.com/1/post/2009/11/site-update-feels-like-home.html#comments

Uncategorized

It might be a long way from finished but this place is starting to feel more like home! Right now there isn't a lot going on here on the site, I'm looking at the HTML and the program files needed to use with the graphics in a coherent layout that is all my own, as well as getting my old camera replaced so I can upload photos of my work and hopefully actually sell things. Next weekend I will be going to a Bead Expo and purchase some new beads and findings to start some unique items. Until then!
