Considering that the shop isn't really open yet, I suppose that isn't a bad thing. I've been busy with lots of different things. I have tried my hands at a lot of new projects but the wedding that my fiance and I are having in September (and the fact that I'm making the majority of the items) has been eating up not only a lot of my time and focus, but of course money as well.

However with the last couple of days I have been experimenting with some new products that are easy to make for me and keep my hands on something while waiting for things to happen. As I now have a decent supply of them, I figure I could at least test out the best shipping and selling of items on the site. I'm hoping to gain a bit of a head way to at least buy more supplies while I'm waiting for the wedding to be over with and save up for some major items I need to run the shop properly.

In other news, we now have a new partner. Neko, my friend from high school, has agreed to become a partner with us and will be honing her skills in sewing. As a talented artist herself, I look forward to not only working with her, but seeing the pieces that she creates.

I still need to fiddle with some of the pages and add a few more but I am starting to like how this is coming along. It actually feels like my own site with things that say me instead of a cookie cutter feel that most sites tend to have when done through a free hosting. I'm still trying to figure out a lot of the HTML, so don't be freaked out when you see something out of place for the next couple of weeks.

Not only will it give you an inside look on the inner workings of the shop, the site, and a bit of our personality as well. Right now though it is after 2 am here in Nefi world and my mind does not produce coherent thoughts well. Right now there isn't a lot going on here on the site, I'm looking at the HTML and the program files needed to use with the graphics in a coherent layout that is all my own, as well as getting my old camera replaced so I can upload photos of my work and hopefully actually sell things. Next weekend I will be going to a Bead Expo and purchase some new beads and findings to start some unique items. Until then!
